Video Workshops
Digital technology has brought about sweeping changes to the photography world in the last 10 years. Perhaps the most dramatic is the combination of video and still recording capabilities in the same, SLR-format camera. Today’s media creator can do so much more with so much less than ever before. Our DSLR Video workshop is designed to equip both the experienced photographer and the student who is new to media creation all together in the art of successful video production.
Creating a quality video can be a massive undertaking. In this workshop, we take the approach of storytelling through interviews to equip students in the broadest possible scope of experience in just one week. You’ll start at the beginning, learning how successful pre-production will save you hours of frustration and thousands of dollars in wasted time and effort. Lighting is familiar to the still photographer, but we’ll show you how to set it up for an interview, not just a single snapshot. Quality audio is the thing that really sets apart a professional video from the flip cam shots blogging around. Finally, we’ll put all the pieces together in Post Production using Adobe Premier Elements as our cross-platform editor.
