IPS in 2010

Dear Friends of IPS,

Thank you for your support and fellowship this past year! 2009 was significant for IPS as we launched out on our own for the first time, ran more workshops in more places, and introduced two new workshops: Design and Landscape Photography. 389 students attended 30 workshops last year as we demonstrated steady growth despite the fluttering economy. God has continued to shower us with His good favor and to grant increased vision and purpose for the future.

2010 will be another big year as we hope to launch another new workshop, host our seventh New Zealand Experience, and celebrate our 10th anniversary with a giant reunion. That’s right! IPS is 10 years old, and we intend to celebrate this year! Details aren’t in yet, but you’ll want to mark your calendars for the second week of July in Portland, OR.

2010 will also be a year of changes as we continue to tweak our workshops to be the best in the business. After two years of observing how much staff and students enjoyed and learned from the workshop “sets” in Colorado, we’ve decided to make this our norm. This year we will be drawing students together into three main sets of workshops: San Antonio, TX in April, Portland, OR in July, and Manitou Springs, CO in September. I am really excited about seeing more students able to take advantage of better workshops in more convenient locations. We are working hard to finalize dates and facilities in each of these cities right now, so check back for our updated calendar soon!

We have also made some changes to our registration process and policies. We are now requiring full payment prior to arrival at a workshop and are planning to roll out full online registration in the first quarter of 2010. Together this should ease the registration process and eliminate confusion at workshops. Please check out our updated policies at http://prizewinningphotography.com/fineprint.

What won’t ever change is the outstanding training, friendly atmosphere, and godly fellowship that you’ve come to expect from IPS. That will always be our passion as we strive to make a difference in the Kingdom of God through photography! IPS is still the place to be to Encounter God, Discover Vision, and Photograph Life. We hope to see you soon!

For all of us here at IPS,

Rowan
