Wednesday was a very long day and an absolutely great day! Each morning we have a leadership lesson. This morning we learned about the power of a well-lived life and the potential impact of an encouraging word. The instructors demonstrate this to each of us each day as they continue to challenge us to become excellent photographers in order to glorify God. We also learned about the magnificence of Landscape and Nature photography, the power of Black and White images, and the beauty of Portraiture. One of our assignments was to get some specific portraits. It was really funny to watch everyone come up with their most “awkward” picture for one of our competitions. There were some pretty creative shots taken! One of the other students and I had the wonderful opportunity to meet a homeless man and interact with him after he saw us taking pictures. We took some pictures of him, gave him some money, and shared the good news of God’s love for him. We’ve learned this week that photography can open doors into the lives of people and it was wonderful to experience that first hand.

Tuesday was an awesome day filled with lots of fun. But most of all, we learned about aperture and that was awesome in every way. Well, that’s all for now!
